The cold plate is electroplated high-purity copper under a clear acrylic top, and contacts the GA102 die, GDDR6X memory packages and VRM stage through pre-cut thermal pads. A matching black-anodized aluminum backplate ships in the same kit and is required for installation because the FE PCB relies on it for clamping pressure. G1/4 ports are routed to both the top and the bottom of the block to allow either single-card or multi-block serial / parallel plumbing. A 5V addressable RGB strip is included.

A: No. It is built for the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Founders Edition PCB only. It does not fit AIB partner cards or RTX 3080 Ti FE.
