Common Applications
The SLFV2-RGB is an in-line G1/4 flow indicator that provides visual confirmation of coolant movement in a custom loop. A multi-bladed impeller spins on a ceramic bearing for low drag and long service life, and the aluminum-alloy front panel stiffens the housing while framing the rotor. Three G1/4 ports are provided so the unit can be plumbed in standard pass-through mode or used with the third port for fill, drain or pressure-relief duty. Lighting is Barrow's LRC 2.0 addressable RGB on a 5V 3-pin connector compatible with motherboard A-RGB headers and standard A-RGB controllers; no 12V RGB cable is included and 12V wiring will damage the LEDs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this provide a numeric flow rate reading?
A: No. It is a visual indicator only; the impeller speed correlates with flow but no calibrated number is reported.
Q: How many G1/4 ports are on the unit?
A: Three G1/4 ports.
Q: What RGB standard does it use?
A: Barrow LRC 2.0, 5V 3-pin addressable RGB. Do not connect to a 12V RGB header.
Q: What is the impeller bearing made of?
A: A wear-resistant ceramic bearing.
Q: Is an A-RGB controller included?
A: No. The unit ships with a 3-pin ARGB cable, but the controller or motherboard header is supplied by the builder.
