CPU and GPU Water Block - Getting the Right One For Your PC

Finding the right CPU/GPU water block for your rig can be a little confusing but there are a few things you need to keep in mind when you are doing so.cpu/gpu water block One of the main things is to find one that is made by a reputable manufacturer so you do not run into a situation where you are having to replace it later on down the road.

Just like any other parts that you have in your computer you need to take the time to look at all of the options that are available to you before you buy a water block. The first thing that you want to look at is what kind of system are you running.

For instance if you are running a gaming rig, a liquid cooling system or a fanless system. Both of those systems would require different block sizes and you need to find out what is the best fit for you before you go out and purchase a GPU/CPU water block.

You also need to look at the capacity of the pump that you are using. If you are using a liquid cooling system, for instance, you will need to find a block that will easily fit the size of the pump that you have and you will need to get one that is made from high quality materials that will stand up to heat long enough to cool down your processor.

To find out the good size for the block you need to measure the diameter of the part that you are looking at. Measure the size of the pump that you have and then multiply that by the number of square millimeters that it occupies.

Once you have done that, you should be able to find the right size for your CPU/GPU water block and you should be able to find one that will work perfectly with your setup. Just be sure that you get a size that is actually larger than the pump that you are using so you don't have a problem later ondown the road when you need to remove the block and get some more air flow.

Something else that you want to make sure is that you get a system that is compatible with your motherboard as well. You do not want to buy a GPU/CPU water block that is going to run your system and then find out later that it won't fit into the holes on your motherboard.

Also, make sure that you buy something that is of high quality and comes with a lifetime warranty. This is going to be a long lasting piece of hardware and is definitely worth the price that you are paying for it.
